Legacy BJJA is an independent, family owned Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy founded by Ramtin Rajabinia in 2022. We pride ourselves on offering innovative jiu jitsu programs tailored specifically to the needs, goals and experience level of each student. Our aim is to focus on providing a clean, friendly, safe environment for everyday people to be able to integrate into their already busy schedules. We are dedicated to providing the highest standard of training in a state of the art facility that reflects our passion for the transformative power of Jiu Jitsu. We strongly believe that martial arts can be for everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience levels. Our mission is to inspire and empower all of our members to become the best version of themselves and succeed on and off the mats.

Our Founder
At Legacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy, we are privileged to have Ramtin Rajabinia as our esteemed head instructor. With multiple provincial championship titles from the CBJJF (Canadian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation), Ramtin is a true exemplar of excellence in the world of jiu jitsu.
Ramtin's journey in perfecting his jiu jitsu technique began in 2015. Recognizing his deep passion for the art, he dedicated himself to rigorous training, committing 6-7 days a week to hone his skills. It was during this time that he realized his calling extended beyond personal competition. In 2016, after achieving his blue belt, Ramtin embraced the role of instructor and discovered his true passion lay in teaching.
Since then, Ramtin has amassed an impressive six years of coaching experience. He has honed his skills and developed a teaching style that effectively caters to students of all ages and skill levels. From teaching children as young as 4 years old to adults as seasoned as 70 years old, Ramtin's expertise and adaptability shine through in every class.
As an instructor, Ramtin finds immense joy and fulfillment in witnessing the progress and achievements of his students. The sense of pride he experiences when his students thrive and succeed in their own jiu jitsu journeys surpasses any personal accomplishments he has achieved in tournaments.
